  Otherworldly with a punk-hearted tweak, this Austrian-born and Japan/Taiwan-evolved one-girl-band lures you into a hypnotic sequence of multi-layered slow-motion explosions. Combining influences of psychedelic, ethereal wave, tribal folk, process music, and space rock into their own unique howl playfully dubbed as super space folk, LILLIE CREATURES synthesize haunting vocals and pulsating guitar loops into an idiosyncratic live sampling micro-orchestra. Launched 2020 while living in Tokyo, Japan, LILLIE CREATURES subsequently moved to Taiwan and immersed themselves in the local music scene, performing at venues and festivals across the island before relocating to Vienna in 2022. Active in Europe and Asia alike, LILLIE CREATURES explore and create a kaleidoscopic multiverse of sound, abducting audiences to the far and mysterious edges of inner space.

  Soundinstallation

  Andrea Corradi ist Medienkünstler und Kurator, der einen Master-Abschluss bei Interface Cultures anstrebt. Seine Arbeit konzentriert sich auf die Interaktion zwischen Mensch und Computer und erforscht innovative Ansätze in der Multimediakunst. Im Rahmen seiner Forschungen arbeitet er mit verschiedenen Kollektiven an interaktiven Installationen und webbasierten Projekten zusammen, wobei er die Grenzen der neuen Medienkunst immer weiter ausdehnt.

  Die Installation Murciélago basiert auf dem Phänomen, dass eine Pulsfolge durch Änderung der Abspielgeschwindigkeit in eine gleichbleibende Frequenz übergeht. Inspiriert von Curtis Roads’ Microsound erforscht sie die Wahrnehmung und Transformation von Klang auf Mikroebene und überbrückt die Lücke zwischen Rhythmus und Dauerton, um die Dynamik menschlicher Klangwahrnehmung zu verdeutlichen.

  Rauminstallation

  Sookie-Celeste Simair thematisiert die Vielfalt trans- und nicht-binärer Stimmen und den gesellschaftlichen Druck, diese an männliche oder weibliche Normen anzupassen. In Interviews mit drei Trans-Personen werden Emotionen in Tonfall, Rhythmus und Timbre mittels KI analysiert und zur Gestaltung eines 3D-Objekts genutzt, das dynamisch zwischen fließenden, blumenartigen Formen und scharfen, kristallinen Strukturen wechselt.

  What is born from between the visible?

  How do we define emptiness and form, in other words space? In what way is nothingness an essencial element for creation to manifest itself into physical presence?

  Incarnation of the intangible is the essential casualty in the work of Austrian transmedial artist and musician Anna Gabriele. Inspired by movements such as abstraction, mono-ha, gutai and surrealism she explores concepts of identity, existence and transformation through a wide range of artistic expression and media encompassing painting, installation art, photography, video and performance as well as live composition and songwriting.

  Anna Gabriele was born in Vienna and has lived and studied in Tokyo, Japan between 2013-2014 and 2015-2020 as well as in Taipei, Taiwan between 2020-2022. Active in Europe and Asia alike, she is currently based in Vienna.
