When Marie Pravda settles into a DJ booth she’s there to spark some chemistry with those willing to embrace it. While she is perfectly capable of generating similar energy in her recordings for the online world, it’s the endless push & pull with the physical crowd that charges her selection and mixing. Developing into an avid digger during long shifts in gloomy basements and online, the Prague-based DJ and DIY promoter took the Czech scene by storm with her savage take on a growing range of club music – be it with selections from her trippy or dance folders. In 2020 she joined the resident collective of Ankali & Planeta Za where she runs her regular Planeta Pravda club series. Marie has contributed episodes to numerous online radios and mix series for club or non-club outlets. She recorded mixes for Knekelhuis, hereandthere, Galactic Funk, and appeared on online broadcasts of NTS, Hör, Mutant, Kiosk, Operator and many more. In 2021-2023 she was a member of the artist roster of Gravity Network, an international initiative for club culture exchange in Europe and beyond.
QUOD makes electronic music, situated in the realms of synthpop and triphop with an aesthetic touch of cyberpunk. Stefan Zotter & Bianca Anne Braunesberger are the artists behind that project. Their sound carries the audience/listener on a wave of bass into spheres of meandering within self reflection and an invitation to letting go of the past whilst entering a sentiment of daydreams and the visualization of an alternative universe, in which we can co – exist with all that is.
QUOD released a couple of compilations of their music in the past few years and plays in various venues, clubs, bars and festivals. Their most current EP “Does anyone else hear it as well?” is the main frame of their upcoming concerts. You can stream their music on all popular platforms, also go to bandcamp.com to download it. You can find music videos, such as “relish the signs”, “roots”, “within” and “caves full of light” on our website: // Instagram @quodmusic
Exceptional DJ, passionate networker, and talented booker, Memet Acuma, is a wellknown- more precisely, an indispensable entity in the Austrian club scene. The perfect mixture of pure skill and a authentic selection has brought him to every major club location in Austria. Dynamic and versatile DJ sets, effortlessly switching between experimental music, obscure jazz, broken beats, house, techno, and beyond, leave an unmistakable impression among the crowd.
Sure, that sounds like the biography of every other wannabe DJ, but at the end of the day, he shouldn't care. After all, DJs like him create the soundtrack of a scene and demonstrate the subtle difference between pure entertainment and authentic club culture.
This music is for the inside - says PODPORA - and I hear it within me. A hollow thump of a stone thrown onto the surface and its reverberations. Making the surrounding silence tremble. In it I can feel the tender closeness of what is outside. I can see it. Until it really starts happening inside. - L. Adel
